How to use I'm a Berean

A free, simple way to grow in the knowledge of God's Word and of Christ. Like the Bereans, who “examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so” (Acts 17:11), this is a place to study, test, and treasure the Word — whether you're exploring faith for the first time or have walked with Jesus for years.

Start here if you're new

Open the “Knowing Christ — Start Here” topic for a gentle, step-by-step walk through the good news — who God is, why we need rescue, and how to come to Christ today. It doubles as a guide for sharing your faith with someone else.

Study a topic, then test yourself

Each topic opens with a short study card — key passages with notes, plus the cultural and original-language background. When you're ready, tap “quiz me” to lock it in. Every answer comes with an explanation, a word study, and context, so the quiz itself teaches.

Walk through a reading plan

Reading plans guide you day by day through a theme — the whole story of Scripture, the foundations of the faith, the life of Christ, or the Sermon on the Mount. Each day has a passage to read (tap any reference to read it right here) and a short devotional and reflection.

Hide the Word in your heart

Memory verses use fill-in-the-blank practice to help you commit Scripture to memory. Verses you've worked on come back for review on a gentle schedule, so they actually stick.

Come back daily

A daily set of questions is waiting each day, and your streak grows every day you spend time in the Word — whether that's Today's Five, studying a topic, reading a plan day, or memorizing a verse. Any one of them keeps the streak alive. Progress saves automatically — create a free account to sync it across devices, or continue as a guest to keep it on this one.

Share it — and support it

Found a topic or plan that would help a friend? Tap Share on any topic or plan to send them a link that opens right to it. It's free, with no ads — made for disciples everywhere. If you'd like to help keep it that way, there's a way to support it.

☆ A word before you begin

Knowledge can puff up, but the goal here is love — to know God Himself, not just facts about Him (1 Corinthians 8:1; John 17:3). Hold everything up to Scripture, lean on your local church, and let what you learn lead you to worship.

Support

Keep it free for the next person

I'm a Berean is free, and it always will be — no ads, no paywalls, nothing hidden behind a price. “Freely you received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8). If it has helped you and you'd like to help keep it running and growing, a gift of any size goes straight toward hosting and building new content — and keeps it free for the next person who needs it.

Give a one-time or recurring gift

Secure checkout handled by Stripe. You can give once or set up a small monthly gift — whatever you're able.

Give a gift

100% goes toward keeping the app online and adding new studies, plans, and verses.

Not able to give? That's good too.

The best support costs nothing: use it, grow in the Word, and share it with a friend who'd be encouraged by it.

Pray for it

Pray that it would help people across the world examine the Scriptures like the Bereans (Acts 17:11) and grow in the knowledge of Christ.

Our Foundation

What We Believe

I'm a Berean stands on the truths the historic Christian church has always held in common — the ground every believer shares. Every question and explanation is measured against these.
